320 hollow balls of clay I had made. As much as fit in the outline of a
room.
By throwing these balls against the wall I scanned the
borders and boundaries of this space, which ends where the balls burst to
pieces.
The ball, unbaked, pulverized when hitting the wall, leaving an imprint.
You could hear the room end in the blow and falling flinders. These
flinders showed the shape (and boundaries) of the space and include the
activity of throwing and breaking.
This daily routine was registered. On the last day this
registration was instrumentally translated.

De
contouren van de ruimte tekenden zich af met het verstrijken van de tijd
"Na
maanden voorbereiding zijn tijdens het project de grenzen aan de ruimte
onderzocht en systematisch in beeld gebracht.
Elke
dag was op gezette tijden een expeditie van de zoektocht te volgen.
Het geheel van expedities, de totale ruimtetour, is nauwkeurig
geregistreerd. Op de slotdag werd een eerste weergave hiervan
instrumentaal ingevuld, te midden van het expeditiebeeld (zie filmpje
onderaan)."
